IT’S funny how a memory can be rekindled.
A chap was telling me that years ago his father had worked for Ministry of Public Building and Works.
Any military or ministry establishment had these people at their beck and call for any building work that need to be done and what a responsible position they were in.
They were commonly known as ‘sticks and bricks’.
