I WAS in McColl’s, in Weyhill Road.
A man bought a Valentine card with the heading ‘to the one I love’.
He hesitated and looked a bit worried. I asked him. “Are you all right?”
He said “Yes, thanks.”
He then added: ”I suppose I’d better get one for the wife as well.”
