AM I right in thinking that Cllr Nick Adams-King representing Blackwater, who wrote in criticising Joanne and David Coole’s efforts to prevent, on behalf of at least 5,000 residents, the public toilets being demolished, is also the Deputy Leader of Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC), a member of TVBC Cabinet and TVBC Planning Portfolio Holder who gave permission for the George Yard public toilets to be demolished, from each and all these positions?
Is he also part of the TVBC Cabinet who totally ignored our petition and who said people don’t always know what they are signing? I hope his constituents and those of the other cabinet members, take note of that, because now these people know exactly what their councillors think of them, especially if you signed our petition!
I also noticed that Cllr Nick Adams-King had the audacity to bring politics into the equation, to try and belittle Joanne and David although neither are, nor have stood to become a councillor! I am also involved within the campaign and have publicly confessed to no political leanings and firmly believe that politics should not come into local government. I also know Paul Flippance is not involved in our campaign in case attention is turned in his direction to try and ridicule him!
