THANK you for printing the last write up I did about trees along the A338 to Tidworth.

I’ve heard that no permission was granted by the parish and Wiltshire councils.

I believe the public has a right to know who it was that carried this act of desecration That person should be sacked from his or her post.

No one should be carrying out these acts of sacrilege no matter who they are.

Those trees would have protected the people living there from air and noise pollution.

I would also like to know why the public are not allowed to take the wood for their wood burners.

Those trees had been there for years and now we are met with an offensive bricks and mortar screen.

It’s awful, and I’d like to add to this the sad person that’s left that one tree standing with no branches and two forks on show.

How would you like to be evicted from your home like you have evicted the insects and creatures from theirs?

I hope with Queen Elizabeth’s planting scheme, that more fresh trees will be planted.
