Date for Friends’ Grand Draw
4:00pm Friday 5th June 2009
THE Grand Draw for the Friends of Andover War Memorial Hospital will now take place at 2.30pm on Sunday 5 July at a Summer Barbecue to be held at 16, Kingsmead, Anna Valley; not at Beech Hurst as stated on the tickets.
Tickets may be obtained from committee members and will be on sale at the entrance to Outpatients throughout June. Tickets are 50 pence each.
The first prize is £200 sponsored by Brainwave Internet and the second prize is a trip for four people to go up Big Ben kindly donated by Sir George Young, and there are many other prizes.
The printing of the tickets has been sponsored by Aldridge Vehicle Services Ltd.
Tickets for the Barbecue, at a cost of £10, can be obtained from the Chairman, Mike Reynolds, on 01264 710514, or myself on 01264 710358.
In an important year for the Hospital with the relocation of Outpatients underway, the Friends are looking for new members to join and help raise more funds to ensure that every department has the equipment needed to better serve the people of Andover.
The Friends have committed over £26,000 for new equipment.
If anyone is interested in joining the Friends as a member, committee member or as a Trustee, please contact the chairman or myself. Training will be given to new Trustees.
