Elections failed to hit the headlines

APPARENTLY there has been some sort of election this week.
Not sure what it's about but it's not making much news hereabouts.
No canvassers; no electoral publicity, no nothing. Even the local BBC news can't make anything of it.
It appears that no-one wants my vote; no wonder there is a lack of interest in local democracy.
I therefore propose that the whole of the elected membership of Hampshire County Council is stood down and the savings in expenses are used to reduce council tax for the next few years.
