ANDOVER resident Brian Taylor disagrees with the New Year Honours List as he doesn’t think that people should be given honours for doing their jobs.

“All the people who receive honours are ones you’ve heard of,” he said.

“It’s their choice to do what they do and they often get paid enough for it. It should be the people who volunteer their time to do amazing things for others who should be on the list.”
