CHANNING Daphne Peacefully at Willow Court Nursing Home on 2nd September, aged 97 years. Much loved by Audrey Francis, her family and friends, and remembered fondly by ex-pupils. Funeral mass to take place on Friday 25th September at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 2:00pm followed by cremation at Charlton Park Crematorium. Sadly, due to Covid-19 restrictions these services will be private. All flowers welcome. Donations, if desired, are to Willow Court Nursing Home and can be made directly via daphnechanning.muchloved.com

Wonderful music teacher, always loved her lessons and had much respect for her. Because of Miss Channing I love music and still have fond memories of listening to Peer Gynt and still do. My condolences.

My grateful thanks to a wonderful teacher who inspired me to love music. Miss Channing's was the first of many choirs I have joined over the years. Happy memories! 🎶
