The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpaths Nos. 8(F)2 and 17, Dorney) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in the entire lengths ofPublic Footpaths Nos. 8(F)2 and 17, Dorney. The closures are required in the interests of public safety whilst works to erect perimeter fencing take place and it is anticipated that the works will commence on 17 July 2020 and will take approximately 9 weeks to complete. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure of Public Footpath No. 8(F)2, Dorney will be via Public Footpath No. 18, Dorney. There is no suitable alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure ofPublic Footpath No. 17, Dorney. The proposed Order will come into operation on 17 July 2020, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

Notice is hereby given that Buckinghamshire Council proposes to make the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to temporarily introduce or convert the current restrictions to a combination of 24 hour rural clearway and No Stopping At Any Time on Verge or Footway restrictions for a period of 18 months on all or parts of Rowley Lane, Black Park Road, Billet Lane and Bellswood Lane in the Stoke Poges and Wexham ward on Denham Court Drive, Black Park Road, Fulmer Common Road, Pinewood Road and Alderbourne Lane in the Denham ward on Brickhill Road in Great Brickhill ward and on Upper Icknield Way, Northfield Road and Westfield Road in Ivinghoe ward. A copy of the Order and Plans showing the lengths ofroad affected, together with a copy of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at "The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8FF".
