Owners' Comments

"We have thoroughly enjoyed living in Thatchwell Cottage. The Cottage has bags of character and is both comfortable and fun to live in. The village is friendly, with lots of social opportunities. Not only is there the pub, where we have actually spent a couple of Christmas's, but there is the Village Hall with its many different clubs and activities, the Working Men's Club and the village church. Every year the Village has a flower show which is like a village fete, an annual Pantomime and every 2 years the Progressive Supper which really gives you the opportunity to get to know the other residents of the Village. We've enjoyed walking our dogs in the local area, particularly in the Test Valley. Whilst King's Somborne is rural we've loved living close to both Winchester and Salisbury."
