PREVIEW:

Jaws in Concert, The Anvil, Basingstoke

Don’t miss Jaws in Concert at The Anvil on Friday 13 April. Watch the original movie blockbuster whilst The Czech National Symphony Orchestra play the Academy Award®-winning score, which made John Williams a household name, live in concert.

Based on the best-selling novel by Peter Benchley and directed by Steven Spielberg, the nail-biting drama tells the tale of a small New England seaside community terrorised by a predatory great white shark during the busiest weekend of the tourist season.

Despite a notoriously difficult ocean shoot with constant technical challenges, Jaws became the most successful movie of all time (until the release of Star Wars two years later). Spielberg has often credited Williams’ score with much of the film’s success.

Now, enjoy the power of a live symphony orchestra performing the entire score in sync with this masterpiece of suspense, in the ultimate film-with-orchestra experience.

Tickets for Jaws in Concert are priced from £27.50 to £55; under 16s pay £20 (includes £2 booking fee).
