A FOLK duo will be stopping off at a town centre theatre for a pre-Christmas concert soon.

The Sound of the Sirens will be making their debut appearance at The Lights on Thursday, 21 December.

And THREE lucky readers have the chance to win tickets to the show at 8pm.

The Sound Of The Sirens, Abbe Martin and Hannah Wood, are deserving winners of their home city's prestigious Battle Of The Bands competition.

They combine agile guitar-playing, soaring harmonies and lyrical, heartfelt song-writing to make lushly melodic music.

Drawing from diverse influences including Bob Dylan, Ed Sheeran, Joni Mitchell, KT Tunstall and the Carpenters, they write from a personal experience that they feel others can relate to.

This year has been a stellar year for them, who have gone down a storm on the festival circuit, and are now working on consolidating their following around the country.

Tickets are £10 in advance or cost £12 on the door.
