Hazel O’Connor, The Lights, Andover

AN AWARD-winning actress and singer will grace the stage at The Lights next month.

Hazel O’Connor who rose to fame in the 1980s in the film Breaking Glass will come to Andover with her new tour Hallelujah Moments.

Hazel, coined as the first major female star of the 1980s, will be live on stage, with her unforgettable songs from the film, including Eighth Day, Will You, Big Brother, If Only and more seem even more relevant in our present times.

With a new album celebrating and reflecting Hazel’s very own Hallejujah Moments, expect a soulful introspective dip into the star’s stunning portfolio, and a sumptuous night of some of the greatest songs of the 20th century delivered with passion and fire.

She will be joined by saxophonist Clare Hirst (Bellestars, Communards, David Bowie) and Sarah Fisher (Eurythmics) on keyboards.

The three voices create a superb blend of tone, and stunning musicianship adds a sweet touch of class to their vibrant performance.
