A DRINK driver was banned from getting behind the wheel for 16 months when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 21 December.
Shane Ernest Coughtrey, of Crawts Road, Overton, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Poultons Road, Overton, on 7 December.
Magistrates handed the 48-year-old a £275 fine and was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 16 months.
This could be reduced by 122 days if Coughtrey completes an approved course by 19 October 2018.
