A CHINEHAM nursery has re-opened with a new look following a refurbishment.

Bright Horizons Day Nursery and Preschool in Stag Oak Lane, Chineham Business Park, re-opened on Saturday, 13 January with new areas for children to explore.

With the refurbishment of the nursery, active athletes play area has been added so that no matter the weather, there is an area for the children to play sport and games in.

The other brand new feature is the creative cooks kitchen area, where the children can try their hand at preparing recipes.

The opening event showcased the new areas, with a sample of winter menus available to try.

There was also a visiting mobile farm, Snow White and one of the dwarfs, as well as a raffle.

Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane Councillor Paul Frankum and mayoress Cllr Jane Frankum cut the ribbon to open the new look nursery.
