A SERIES of art exhibitions have been organised to take place in Stockbridge, starting this spring.

Houghton Lodge and Gardens is looking forward to a season of exciting art exhibitions featuring professional artists as it continues its collaboration with Creative Coverage, the Hampshire arts organisation.

The first exhibition from April to June will feature floral, still life and fungi paintings by Ingrid Skoglund, George Paul Sainsbury and Peter Thwaites as well as hanging glass pictures by Susan Purser Hope, elected Chair of the Contemporary Glass Society.

From June to August photographs by Sarah MacDonald and paintings by Sara Barnes, Nancy Jones, Michael Jevon and Pat Regnart will be on display.

The final exhibition of the year from August to October will feature paintings by Jan Gay, an elected member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Stuart Stanley, a council member of The Society of Graphic Fine Art, Sue Colyer and Nerissa Deeks.
