BUDDING young photographers experienced success in the Andover Rotary Club Photographic Competition.
Rookwood School pupils Amelie Bolam and Alexandra Booth were chosen as winner and runner-up respectively in the 11 to 13 age group.
This year’s theme was ‘A Different Perspective’, with each entrant submitting three photographs based on this theme
Amelie’s entry focused on reflections and the way in which objects look different when reflected, while Alexandra’s series of photographs captured the beauty of sunlight on the sea in different conditions.
Art teacher Alex Treasure said: “We are delighted that Amelie and Alexandra’s photography was recognised at the regional round of the Rotary Club Photographic Competition.”
Amelie’s portfolio will now be forwarded to compete nationally against winners from other Rotary competitions.
