A MAN has been flown to hospital after the lorry he was driving overturned into a field on the A3057.
The driver became trapped when the Volvo earth-moving vehicle rolled onto its side at Goodworth Clatford shortly after 11.30am today (Friday).
Paramedics and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance were called to the incident.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said: "The driver, an approximately 45-year-old male, had sustained serious arm, chest and abdominal injuries.
"After initial treatment and stabilisation at the scene, he was then flown to the major trauma centre at University Hospital Southampton."
An eyewitness has told the Advertiser that police were at the scene, with some managing the traffic.
A crew from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended but a spokesman said the driver at managed to free himself from the vehicle.
