A CYCLIST suffered minor injuries after a hit-and-run in Andover.

Police were called to Charlton Road shortly after 4pm yesterday (Tuesday) to reports of a collision near the Folly Roundabout.

A bicycle was hit by a car which made off from the scene.

The cyclist, a 20-year-old man from Andover, sustained minor injuries.

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who might know the driver of the car.
