Police appeal after motorist spat at and racially abused by driver
A MOTORIST was spat at and racially abused by another driver yesterday in Andover.
Officers are investigating the incident after police were called following the encounter, which happened on Walworth Road, at around 1.30pm on July 25.
The 56-year-old Peugot van driver was spat at and racially abused by a male driver of a white SUV vehicle.
He is described as aged between 55 and 60, five foot 11 inches tall, white, of a stocky build with brown hair.
He was wearing shorts.
Police are calling for anyone who may have seen something, or other motorists who were in the area at the time, to contact them.
