A THIEF who stole a bicycle worth £650 left at a railway station has been handed a suspended sentence.
Christopher Scott Bryan appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 9, and admitted two counts of theft.
The court heard on May 11 the 44-year-old stole a bicycle at Chandler’s Ford railway station.
And on May 14 he travelled to Andover to steal another bike from the town’s railway station.
Magistrates sentenced Bryan, of Winchester, to four weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, as he had committed similar crimes in the past.
He must also pay £435 compensation.
