A NEW perfume shop opened for business in the town centre today.
The Fragrance Shop has begun trading in the Chantry Centre with staff feeling a positive welcome from Andover shoppers.
Store manager Caroline Smith said: "We have had lots of work to do but it has been a really good first day today.
"We've had a lot of people come in wanting to know what we sell and feedback has been great from the customers so far."
The store hopes to host an official opening event in a few weeks time, and are running an online competition on the Chantry Centre's website.
Bosses are also looking for more new recruits to join the team, and are encouraging anyone who is interested to come and meet the team in store.
The Fragrance Shop is the second newcomer to the town's shopping centre this month, with Cinderella’s Hair Boutique also cutting the ribbon on September 8.
Chantry Centre manager Steve Cotney said: "We are delighted to have The Fragrance Shop, it fits lovely with the centre, the shop fit is beautiful and it adds more value to our line up.
"Certainly people were coming in their droves when I was in there.
"Cindy's looks lovely as well, she is trading well."
