A CARELESS motorist who pulled out onto a road and caused an accident has been fined.
Adrian Primus, of Talavera Way, Tidworth, was driving a red Ford Focus on May 20 when he drove onto the A3090 in Romsey without due care and attention.
At Aldershot Magistrates Court on September 17, magistrates were told that Primus pulled out in front of an oncoming vehicle.
The court also heard Primus, aged 41, was driving without the correct insurance and had six passengers in his car – more than the legal limit.
Primus pleaded guilty to driving without insurance, driving without due care and attention and driving with excess passengers.
He was fined £1,491 and has been given six points on his licence. He must pay a £63 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
