TADLEY library will be closing for refurbishment.

The Mulfords Hill site has been granted permission by Hampshire County Council to modernise the facility.

Redecorating and carpeting throughout the library will start on October 23 with the anticipated reopening date of Monday, 3 December.

During the closure, the nearest libraries in South Ham, Chineham and Basingstoke will remain open and able to provide service to Tadley customers.

Also people who are expected to return books during this time will be extended until the library is reopened with no fines being imposed.
