AN URGENT recall has been issued for a children's toy - over fears youngsters could choke on it.
A batch of cake-shaped soft toy 'squishies' are said to be a risk to children's health.
Fears have been raised that kids could choke on them or suffocate on the plastic packaging.
There are hundreds of different types of squishies, but not all squishies are being recalled.
The warning is about a specific cake-shaped one called the 'Slow Rising Scented Squishy'.
It looks like a slice of pudding, coloured pink and white and has a strawberry on top.
The recall notice has been issued by the European Commission which has categorised the toys as a "serious risk".
The body has warned that a child could mistake the toy for food - because of its colour, size and appearance.
Squishies are available from retailers like Claire's, The Works, toy shops and online from sites like Amazon and eBay.
But it's not clear where these specific toys were sold or what brand they are.
