THERE were spooky happenings at Finkley Down Farm as youngsters got into the Halloween spirit.
Throughout half term children and their families descended on the attraction to enjoy the host of activities on offer.
Duty manager Kate Waters said: “We had a great deal of fun during Halloween half term. It has been more like Freaky Down Farm this week, rather than Finkley Down Farm.
“The weather was good and we were busy throughout. Everyone had so much fun, children were leaving with smiles on their faces and so were the staff!”
During the week young and old took part in a monster hunt, spooky stables, fancy dress parades, Halloween disco and children’s entertainers including Mavis Flosswort the Witch and her friend Sally the Scarecrow
And it wasn’t just visitors who made the most of the spooktacular as animals on the farm were given pumpkins to eat and play with as a special treat.
