SANTAS are warming up in anticipation for an annual charity dash this Sunday.
The Walnut Tree in Appleshaw will be holding its annual Santa dash in aid of the Piggles Trust, a charity that works towards developing early years educational facilities to seriously ill children.
Participants will be dressed head to toe in Santa suits and have the option to walk, jog or run with their dogs.
Anna Clissold, business development manager for Admiral Taverns, the pub’s operator, said: “I’m proud of the team at the Walnut Tree for their work ahead of this fantastic weekend event at the pub.
“It’s a fun-filled day for everyone involved with Ann and Tony excited to raise money for the Piggles Trust. They look forward to a wonderful day.”
The race begins at 11am and entry prices start from £5 for ages four to 12, which includes a set of antlers and a red nose, and £8 for ages 13 and over.
Entry is free to those under three.
