THE X-RAY facility at Andover hospital has been restored after the service was shut due to a fault.
The service at Andover War Memorial Hospital is back up and running as of today, after repairs were made to equipment.
Patients were advised to travel to Basingstoke and Winchester hospitals for an x-ray while the appliance was being fixed.
The Andover service sees an average 60 patients a day and operates across the hospital's minor injuries unit, outpatients department and GP service.
Previously, Alex Whitfield, chief executive of Hampshire Hospitals, said: "We apologise for the inconvenience caused whilst the x-ray service at Andover War Memorial Hospital is temporarily unavailable.
"I also want to thank the hard working staff at Andover, as well as the radiology departments at Basingstoke and Winchester, for continuing to provide good patient care during this temporary closure."
