THIEVES smashed a shop window in Andover in a bid to steal a cash machine.
Offenders struck at 12.30am on Friday, December 7, breaking the shop front of the Co-op in Salisbury Road.
A Hampshire police spokesman said the burglary attempt caused “significant damage” to the store.
He added: “An unsuccessful attempt was made to take an ATM machine.”
