A 23-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in relation to child sex offences yesterday.
Officers were called to Dene Road, Andover, at 8.39pm on December 11, after a call was made by a member of the public.
The Andover man was arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause/incite a girl to engage in sexual activity.
The call to the police came from a member of an online group of so-called 'paedophile hunters' who also filmed their encounter with the man before posting it on social media.
He remains in police custody and enquiries are ongoing.
