TWO dogs have been rescued from a house fire in Winklebury.
Firefighters were called to a property in Kenilworth Road at 11.09am this morning (December 13) to reports of a house fire.
Upon arrival, crews from Basingstoke Fire Station found that the fire had started in the kitchen.
During the call-out, firefighters rescued two dogs from the house as the extinguished the fire.
Crews used breathing apparatus to the rescue the dogs where oxygen therapy was administered to the dogs, who were then taken to the vet. Two jets and one hose reel were used to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters were given the stop notice at 12.09pm.
