A 15-YEAR-OLD boy was robbed by a man making threats and demands for money on Monday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident between 6 and 6.30pm on December 17, when the teenager was approached by a man he did not know, walking along a pathway behind Keens House, in Anton Mill Road.

Due to threats and demands for money, the victim handed over £30 cash.

The man is described as stocky, around 6ft 1ins tall and was wearing black gloves with a logo on them, a black tracksuit, black hoodie and a balaclava.

Police Staff Investigator Michael Longmore said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or saw a man matching this description in the area at this time.

“This happened close to a main road and a large supermarket, so it is likely that there will have been people around who may have seen this man.”
