A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of assault, after an early morning attack took place last weekend.
The assault took place between midnight on Saturday, December 15 and 2am on Sunday, December 16 on Talavera Way in Tidworth.
Police understand it was a domestic assault, and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A 29-year-old man from Tidworth has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage. He has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
Detective constable Matthew Cable, from Wiltshire Police said: “We want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and either witnessed or heard an argument or altercation between the couple.
“However small the information may be, please come forward and talk to police.”
