A MOTORCYCLIST has died after he was struck by a car in a collision today.
The crash occurred on the B3400, near Hurstbourne Priors at 5.40pm on December 22.
The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man from Andover, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the Ford Focus, a man, and his female passenger, suffered minor injuries and have been taken to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
The road is expected to be closed in both directions between Hurstbourne Priors and the Picket Twenty roundabout, until around 11pm as police continue their investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who was driving along that road at around the time of the collision, as you may have information that could help.
