BURN off the Christmas calories by launching your Christmas tree as far as you can.
Rosebourne garden centre, in Amesbury Road, Weyhill has announced the return of its Christmas Tree Throwing Competition.
From 11am to noon on Saturday, January 5, the games will begin in the free event looking for those who can throw their Christmas trees the furthest distance.
Prizes include a free Christmas tree for next year and an afternoon tea for two at Rosebourne.
Managing Director of Rosebourne, Neville Prest, said: “Everyone is always a little bit downhearted packing the decorations away, so we thought we’d launch ourselves into the new year with a little fun by recreating our Christmas Tree throwing competition.
"We’re holding it at both stores and hope that everyone that buys a tree from us joins us in recycling it in the most fun way possible.”
All trees that have been entered into the competition will be recycled by Rosebourne.
