THREE estates have been given a festive sprucing thanks to a team effort.
Housing association Aster Group, Test Valley Borough Council and garden maintenance company VPS worked together with a team of volunteers for a Christmas clean-up.
River Way, Pilgrims Way and Cricketers Way saw an overhaul of weed removal, path strimming, hedge cutting and more as part of Aster’s aim to ‘create communities to be proud of’.
There are plans to carry out similar clean-ups in other areas of the town.
Sarah Hobbs, neighbourhood officer at Aster Group, said: “We want our customers to be proud of where they live and these clean ups are just one of the ways we can work together to improve the area and make a positive difference to the lives of our customers.
“We hope that as well as improving the areas for local residents, the recent clean-up will also encourage the local community to work with us.”
