SO, THE internal fuss within the Test Valley Disabilities Forum (TVDF) seems to be continuing.
A vote to elect officers will take place next March! Meanwhile the forum seems to have forgotten its purpose. To force a borough councillor to quit because of alleged conflict is a disgrace.
While I may not always agree with their actions, I found that they were always very helpful on disability issues. TVBC was one of the first councils to allot the duty of disability officer to a member of staff when an association of such officers was formed. Is that officer a member of the forum?
Perhaps in their spare time the TVDF could let us know who they are, what exactly do they do and how do those of us with disabilities contact them.
