TRAVELLERS were all aboard a Santa bus over the Christmas period, raising £100 for The Abel Foundation.
Stagecoach bus company’s Christmas campaign saw a Santa behind the wheel of a bus in December serving Andover town centre and surrounding areas, in efforts to raise money for the organisation.
The Abel Foundation provides support to families and sufferers of mitochondrial disease.
Nigel Lukowski, Stagecoach operations manager for Andover said that the ‘Santa bus’ has become an annual tradition in Andover and something that its customers look forward to in December.
He added: “The bus is decorated and festive music is played, candy canes are given to children and the bus is driven by Santa himself.”
The Abel Foundation relies on voluntary donations to continue its work.
