A WONDERFUL afternoon was had by all at a charity tea dance.
St Michael’s Church, in Colebrook Way, hosted the event in aid of the church and The Vine’s help the homeless project on Saturday.
The Rhythm of Life Band provided the music for the dance, to the delight of those who attended.
Co-organiser Dawn Dearden said: “It was the first time we have done something like this, it was at the request of the band who were playing and we thought we would give it a go.
“It was a brilliant afternoon, it was good fun and very friendly. It was a really nice way to spend a miserable Saturday afternoon.”
The dance raised £50 to be split between the causes.
