GUESTS will have a ball at the Test Valley mayor’s major charity event in May.
On May 4, the mayor of Test Valley, Councillor Ian Carr, will host the annual Mayor’s Ball at the Museum of Army Flying, in Middle Wallop.
It will be one of the first events held at the museum following its current refurbishment and will feature an evening of fine dining, dancing and live music.
Cllr Carr said: “I’m incredibly excited to be holding this event at the newly refurbished Museum of Army Flying; a chance to showcase the new look museum, this is also an opportunity for the people of Test Valley to gather together in celebration of everything that makes our corner of the world special, all whilst supporting two very worthy causes.”
All funds raised as a result of the ball will be donated to The Countess of Brecknock Hospice, in Andover, and Jane Scarth House, in Romsey.
Tickets cost £55 each and include welcome drink and four-course meal, and can be purchased by emailing Chris Lynn on Christopher.lynn@talktalk.net, contacting the mayor’s office on 01264 368000 or sgoodridge@testvalley.gov.uk, or via the Romsey Tourist Information Centre.
