LUCKY students will run out in a new kit thanks to a generous donation.
Pupils from The Mark Way School have been awarded with a cheque for £568 from The Jamie G Sporting Trust.
The money was awarded to help fund the purchase of a new sports kit, which will be worn by those who represent the school at matches and tournaments.
The first match in which the strip will be worn took place at the end of last month.
One PE teacher said: “ It it lovely for them to have a new kit when representing the school, they are proud to represent our school, we take great pride in our PE achievements at Mark Way School.”
The school has also thanked everyone at The Jamie G Sporting Trust for the donation.
The trust was set up in 2009 in memory of young Andover sportsman, Jamie Gentleman, who died just days before his 14th birthday.
