BRING your pedal power to the start line and get ready to race around Thruxton Race Circuit
The first Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) Pedal Car Race will take place on August 11.
Teams of four can bring their home-built pedal cars to take part in a four-lap race against other teams.
There will be food, activities and games for all to enjoy, as well as a children’s drag race.
Entrants are encouraged to invite friends and family to come and cheer them on the day.
Events fundraiser, Nicole Davies, said:“We are thrilled to launch this exciting and unique event and I hope it will be a great day out for the whole family to enjoy. It costs £15,000 a day to keep our life-saving service operational and every penny raised from the day will help us to save another life.”
Team entry is £100 and spectator entry will be a £5 donation on the day, or a £1 donation for children under 10-years-old. Entry to the children’s race will be £10 and is also payable in cash on the day.
