MAGISTRATES handed an attacker a suspended sentence after they were shown CCTV “that made shocking viewing”.

Cheryl Needham, of Tiberius Road, Andover, assaulted her victim in the town on September 26, last year.

On March 19 at Basingstoke Magistrates Court, the 30-year-old pleaded guilty to a charge of assault.

Needham was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and she must also adhere to a curfew for two months.

She was also ordered by magistrates to pay £200 compensation.
