A SUSPECTED drug dealer has been arrested following an incident in Augusta Park, Andover, yesterday (Wednesday).
The 18-year-old, from London, was arrested by plain clothed police officers on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
He remains in custody at this time.
Andover Police shared the following on Twitter: "Following residents’ calls of suspicious activity in Augusta Park yesterday, plain clothed officers arrest an 18-year-old man from London on suspicion of drug dealing and he remains in custody.
"Please continue reporting drug activity."
A statement from Hampshire Constabulary read: "Officers arrested an 18-year-old man, from London, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
"He remains in custody at this time."
