KEEN photographers were given a lesson in how to improve their images.

On Wednesday last week, members of the Ludgershall Photographic Club filed into the church hall and had a “very productive evening”.

The group enjoyed an illustrated talk on post-production editing and then a practical demonstration.

During the evening, members were told how some of the improvements can be made to an image in various software packages.

They were then invited to submit some images that they felt needed improvement.

Many different solutions were on offer including selective cropping, spotting, contrast and brightness levels, cloning, colour saturation and converting to monochrome.

Some of the pictures submitted are above.

New members of any level and experience are welcome to come along to the group.

The programme of events and more information can be found by searching for ‘Ludgershall Photographic Club’ on Facebook.

The first meeting of the group was in 2017 after interest from photographers in the area. The Facebook group now has 69 members who meet to exchange tips and improve their photography knowledge.
