THE winner of the third Test Valley Business Awards 2019 entry prize has been revealed.

Jan Lumsden, of kitchen showroom Kutchenhaus, in Romsey, scooped a corker of a prize when Adam Fox, a previous winner, picked her name out of a hat at random earlier this week.

Jan won a bottle of Veuve Cliquot, which had been donated by the Co-op Distribution Centre at Andover Business Park.

Adam was also officially presented with his prize from last week’s draw — a pair of show tickets from The Lights.

This year’s Test Valley Business Awards takes place in September, with the deadline for nominations in May.

Until then, businesses who put their name forward are being given the chance to win an assortment of prizes, gifted randomly throughout the entry period.

The Test Valley Business Awards, run by a steering group of volunteers and now in its 15th year, has become a well-established platform to champion business excellence.

Businesses have until May 13 to put their name forward for this year’s awards, for which there are six categories. They include new business of the year, small business of the year, businesswoman of the year, employer of the year as well as awards for marketing excellence and innovation and technology.

To enter, business representatives are asked to go to the awards website and submit 200 to 250 words about their business against the relevant category judging criteria, which can also be found online.
