AN APPEAL has been issued in Hampshire to help find a missing teenager.

Police are appealing for help in tracing 16-year-old Leon Lowe who has been missing from his home since Thursday.

The teenager has gone missing from his home in Wallasey in Merseyside but officers believe he may have travelled to Hampshire.

A press statement issued by Merseyside Police said: "Leon Lowe was last seen in Stonehouse Road at 8.20am on Thursday June 6.

"He is described as a white male, of slim build, with shoulder length blond curly hair.

"When last seen he was wearing a grey Superdry top, blue Adidas trousers and light blue Adidas trainers.

"He is known to frequent Wirral and Liverpool but also known to travel to Scotland and Hampshire."
