AN ANDOVER pre-school has been forced to close its doors this morning following overnight flooding.
Shepherds Spring Pre-school Nursery will be unable to accept any children today after a burst water pipe left “everything underwater”.
Help is on the way with an industrial vacuum being sent in to clear the water, but it does mean the nursery will remain closed for at least the rest of the day.
Manager Sharon Harper-Ronald says it is too early to say whether it will reopen tomorrow.
She added: “We are hoping we will be able to open tomorrow. We will know later in the afternoon.
“We re making every effort we can to be open tomorrow.”
The nursery apologises for any inconvenience caused.
More to follow.
