A PROLIFIC theft who stole hundreds of pounds worth of items has now been banned from eight shops in Andover.
Jake Hughes, of The Hexagon, Andover, targeted a number of stores and was convicted of five counts of theft at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on June 15.
At the same court on June 20 the 28-year-old was made subject of a criminal behaviour order for two years. Hughes was banned from Boots, Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsburys, Poundland, Co-op, Wilko and TK Maxx.
He was previously jailed for six weeks and was ordered to pay £120 compensation.
