WEST Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) paid thanks to its volunteers last week with a celebratory tea party event.

People who have given up their time to share their experiences of healthcare services in the area met with chief officer Heather Hauschild and her team at the CCG to enjoy an afternoon tea at the Point in Eastleigh.

The event was supported by local businesses who gave raffle prizes and each volunteer was given a thank you card from Heather on behalf of the organisation.

Heather said: “We are very grateful to our volunteers for the time and help they give us. It is very important to us that we hear the experiences of local people so we can plan services that meet their needs.

“This tea party is our way of thanking them for all they do for us.”

West Hampshire CCG is responsible for designing health services in an area which stretches from Andover to the New Forest, encompassing 48 GP practices.
